I was wondering how much these go for, the only real mention of them I see on the forums seems to have been an item hunt a long long time ago that someone failed because of how rare they are.

Referral points are usually around 1 for 15M, with the exception of the cheapest items, so around 150M-165M for this one.

Referral items are also a pain to get, but also to sell, though, so you might get a bigger discount if someone is selling points in bulk.

I kinda question if you can apply a 15mil/point tag to items like this.

Shop searchs for referral items do not seem to bear out a x points = x price, since so many of them were released on a different payout schedule than when it was switched over to be purely a shop.

I also do no see a single person advertising selling referral points on the last 10 pages of advertising boards, let alone selling 11+ referral points.

I think that 150mil might be a price that would sell pretty quickly, but if I were holding one trying to sell, I would be looking for 250+.

The opportunity cost being that you aren't selling a block bb sticker with that many points.

There are a few of them out there from the old system, but its not many.

If someone can point towards a more ready source of 11+ referral points for sale, then 15mil/point makes a lot of sense, but I think they are much harder than that to come by. With a little more research, I would be tempted to be a buyer at 150mil, with the expectation of selling higher.

Yeah, there are not a lot of sellers, but there also aren't many buyers. I've had a 8-point item for...a while now, and even at 100M, it's not selling.

Most of the items are really, really hard to sell because too little demand.

I think a simpler approach to the referral shop is to realize that the only items that you should ever use points on are the plushies stickers and book. Because those have a pretty decent number of people who are looking for them that can afford them, and just can't find one for sale.

The higher end for rare collection items tends to be around 250-300mil, since they have a tendency to be rereleased. Referral items shoudl theoretically not be, although when block bb sticker was put in the crystal shop, I think it hit as high as 500mil. I would stick to 250-300mil for pricing things though.

The problem is the other items probably won't have that kind of demand behind them, so it sets up a very stark contrast of what people are willing to buy them for vs what someone is willing to sell them for.

Yeah, it was official said they won't be rereleased via Crystal Shop anymore since you can get referral points as a prize in the Shengui Guo pools. It would take like a year to get 11 points, so if someone was patient enough, they could get the hoodie for free.

I would think that considering you could get a Referral Point on day 24 from the bathhouse pools that the value might be decreasing soon since people that have been visiting regularly would have 7+ points already. The price of the items is also more defined by their popularity than their point cost I think. Sure 14 points for the Strawberry Necklace is a lot. But that doesn't mean that people would be willing to spend 100m on a necklace. And I believe that most items from that shop are very hard to sell due to those high prices.

Even at one point every 25 days, it would take over a year to get the 14-15 point items. I'm not sure that it changes that much in the grand scheme of things though. You don't see anyone selling referral points on the boards still, and there are probably very few people consistently hitting 24 day streaks of the pools, and those that do, are probably the people looking for collection items themselves, which would take them 3+ years working on their own collections before they would start to flood the market for other other peoples collections.

Strawberry necklace is an interesting case. It is a butt ugly item that was introduced pre shop, so there is an excess of them out there. Noone should pay the point based price of them right now because there are far more in circulation than would justify 200mil+ in points. However, the supply on it will eventually dry up, and if for whatever reason you do want one, you will eventually need to pay 200mil+ because the opportunity cost is not selling a block bb sticker, even if there is no demand for it above 100mil. Thats just probably going to take 5+ years to happen.

Based on demand, the necklace isn't really worth anything to the average user, but if someone really really wants one, they need to compete with the opportunity cost of 14/15ths of a block bb sticker.

I've bought a couple of referral items over the last few months (December+) at 2-5m/pt. The most expensive one being a 14pt item for 5m/pt.

I think Sovereign was saying that those items were from the older referral system and there's still a lot of supply leftover from that time.

I didn't read the whole thread, just offering what I've paid recently. Without knowing which items are from the old system and which aren't, I can't say if any I bought were part of those.

Turtle Hoodie isn't one of them. It's like Dog Tags, it's been here for a long, long time, but since it had a high point value, really few are in existence.

I think there are actually a decent number of them, I think Strawberry necklace used to be pretty high up in the system, but it looked like a toddler drew it, so noone really cared about the thing and there were 4 of them sitting in shop search until I bought all 4 and effectively destroyed 3 of them. I do think that it could command a 11mil/point price point if someone were looking for it though. But if you were actively attempting to sell, you might need to discount a bit.

All of the Strawberry set was released in another way than via Referral Shop, if I remember right. Don't remember HOW, but yeah.

All but the Necklace are still pretty cheap, and I now know why the Necklace is not cheap ;)
